The following are available now for this school year. 

You should inquire and/or apply by using the online application on the Scholarship Donor’s website or by the application in the Scholarship Drawer 

(if available) in Hub 4 – Room 2112. Please see Mrs. MacFarlane with any questions.



The Garden Club Federation of Massachusetts College Scholarship

Criteria: Applicants should be graduating high school seniors who will be attending college in the fall or current college or graduate students who attend accredited colleges and universities. You must be a legal resident of Massachusetts for at least one year, have a minimum “B” average (3.0 on a 4.0 scale), have good character and have financial need. Scholarships are available for students majoring in the following: horticulture, floriculture, landscape design or architecture, conservation, forestry, sustainable food and farming, agronomy, city planning, environmental studies, land management, botany, biology and allied subjects.

Amount of Award: 11 scholarships of varying amounts will be awarded.

Deadline: March 1, 2020

 

PFLAG Cape Cod/Anne Toran Scholarship

Criteria:  Applicants should be graduating high school seniors who have demonstrated support and advocacy for the LGBTQ community and who will be enrolled in an institution of higher learning in the fall of 2020.

How to apply: Applications and information are available from Mrs. MacFarlane in Hub 4 – Room 2112.

Amount of Award:  One scholarship of $2000 will be awarded.

Deadline:  March 27, 2020 to the School Counseling Office – 2112.

 

Massachusetts Elks Scholarship (Major Project)

Criteria: Applicants must be graduating seniors who will be attending a 4 year college;  Applicant must be endorsed by the jurisdictional lodge of the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks, or the lodge of which the parent/guardian is a member.

How to Apply: Applications and information are available from Mrs. MacFarlane in Hub 4 – Room 2112

Amount of Award:  To be determined.

Deadline:  January 15, 2020

Massachusetts Elks Vocational Scholarship Program

Criteria: Applicants must be graduating seniors who will be attending a vocational/technical school, a junior college, or a community college working on one or two year program of studies that will further his/her education culminating in an Associates Degree, diploma or certificate that I less than a bachelor’s degree.  Students must plan to carry a minimum load of 12 semester credit hours each term.

Amount of Award:  One Scholarship of $1,000 will be awarded.

Deadline:  March 1, 2020
