The following are available now for this school year.
Unless otherwise noted you can obtain applications and information from Mrs. MacFarlane in School Counseling, room 2112.
Pay close attention to how the scholarships are paid if you should be the recipient. This information will be at the end of each scholarship listed if I have it.
Friends of the Sandwich Public Library Richard J. Connor Scholarship
Criteria: For a graduating high school senior who resides in Sandwich, regardless of where they attend school, and who is continuing their education as a full-time student at a fully accredited institution of higher learning.
How to apply: Applications are available from Mrs. MacFarlane in School Counseling, room 2112 or you can apply online at http://www.sandwichpubliclibrary.com
Amount of Award: One scholarship of $5,000 will be awarded.
Deadline: April 17, 2024, before 8pm.
Greater Southeastern Massachusetts Labor Council Scholarship
Criteria: This scholarship is available to high school seniors living in Southeastern Massachusetts, Cape Cod, and the Islands whose Parents, Legal Guardian, Aunts, Uncles, or Grandparents are members of a labor union affiliated with the Greater Southeastern Massachusetts Labor Council. The student applicant may also be a member of a labor union affiliated to the labor council.

Amount of Award: Number and amounts vary
Deadline: April 21, 2024
Scholarship to be paid directly to the recipient. Date to be determined.
Rotary Club of Osterville Scholarship
Criteria: Applicants should be graduating seniors who are residents of Barnstable or Mashpee and graduating from Barnstable High School, Mashpee High School, Cape Cod Tech, Cape Cod Academy, Sturgis Charter, or St. John Paul II High School. The prime criteria for this scholarship are high academic achievement and service to others. Financial circumstances will also be considered.

Amount of Award: Two scholarships of $1000 a year (for four years) will be awarded.
Deadline: May 1, 2024
The Barnstable Quarterback Club, Inc. Scholarship
Criteria: To be selected for this scholarship a candidate needs to meet the following criteria;
- Have been a member of the football/cheer program in at least his/her junior and senior year
- Demonstrate dedication to the RedHawk football/cheer program.
- Be of strong moral character on and off the field and exhibit excellent sportsmanship.
- Be accepted to a 2-year or 4-year college in the upcoming fall semester.
Submit an application, resume, and a written essay.

Amount of Award: One $500 scholarship will be awarded.
Deadline: Turn into Mrs. MacFarlane by April 1, 2024
MassHire Cape & Islands Youth Council Scholarship
Criteria: Applicants should be graduating high school seniors who have participated in one or more of the following activities;
- Internship Program/Connecting Activities Program
- ArtWorks Program
- MassHire Cape & Islands Workforce Board Intern
- Residential Construction Career Day
- High School Senior Internship in Education Program (HSSIEP)
How to Apply: Applications and information are available from Mrs. MacFarlane in School Counseling, room 2112
Amount of Award: Five scholarships ranging from $250-$1,000 each will be awarded.
Deadline: March 22, 2024
Scholarship to be paid directly to college or institution upon proof of acceptance to college or institution
