The following are available now for this school year.

You should inquire and/or apply by using the online application on the Scholarship Donor’s website or by the application in the Scholarship Drawer

(if available) in the School Counseling Department – Room 2112. Please see Mrs. Kipnes with any questions.

 

 

Rockland Trust Scholarship

Criteria: Applicants should be graduating seniors who live within Rockland Trust’s service area (employees and their relatives are not eligible). Students must be enrolled in an undergraduate college as a first time, full time student. Students must be in the top 50% of their graduating class.

How to Apply:  Information is available from Mrs.Kipnes in the School Counseling Office – Room 2112.  This is an online application: RocklandTrust.com or you can pick up an application at any Rockland Trust branch.

Amount of Award:  Ten scholarships of $2500 will be awarded.

Deadline:  Must be postmarked by March 11, 2019

 

Abbott and Fenner Business Consultants Scholarship

Criteria: Applicants should be graduating seniors who plan to attend a post secondary institution in the fall.

How to Apply: Students will submit an essay on the topic that appears on the scholarship page of their website: http://www.abbottandfenner.com/scholarships.htm  Full details are available on the site.

Amount of Award: Up to $1000 to the winner(s)

Deadline: June 14, 2019

 

The Pedicini Family & Kenmark Office Systems Entrepreneurial Scholarship

Criteria: Applicants must be a 2019 BHS graduating senior pursuing a degree in the field of business, or any other field related to entrepreneurship.

How to Apply: Applications and information are available from Mrs. Kipnes in the School Counseling Office – Room 2112.

Amount of Award: One scholarship in the amount of $1000 will be awarded.

Deadline: March 30, 2019

 

Greater Southeastern Massachusetts Labor Council Scholarship

Criteria: Applicants must have a parent, legal guardian, brother, sister, grandparent or the student applicant be a member of a labor union affiliated with the Greater Southeastern Massachusetts Labor Council; must be a graduating senior planning to attend college in the fall of 2019.

Amount of Award: Three $1000 scholarships will be awarded.

Deadline: April 19, 2019

 

Monument Beach Sportsman’s Club “Alcott Tobey Scholarship”

Criteria: Applicants should be graduating seniors who plan on attending college or vocational school in the fall of 2019, who are residents of Massachusetts, or may live outside of MA if they are a relative of a current MBSC member, and must maintain a GPA of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale.

How to Apply: Applications are available from Mrs. Kipnes in the School Counseling Office – Room 2112.

Amount of Award:  Three $500 scholarships

Deadline: April 1, 2019

 

Chatham Chorale Scholarship

Criteria: Applicants should be graduating seniors from Cape Cod high schools who intend to pursue college work and specializing in vocal performance, vocal music education ,vocal theater arts, or an accepted variant of above..

How to Apply: Applications and information are available from Mrs. Kipnes in the School Counseling Office – Room 2112.

Amount of Award: One scholarship of $2500 will be awarded.

Deadline: Must be postmarked by March 29, 2019

 

UMASS Amherst Cape Cod Alumni Club Scholarship

Criteria: Applicants should be graduating from a Cape Cod or Islands High School in the spring of 2019 and planning to attend UMass Amherst in the fall. A minimum GPA of 3.3 is required.

How to Apply: Applications and information are available from Mrs. Kipnes in the School Counseling Office – Room 2112.

Amount of Award: Eight scholarships of $3000 will be awarded/ one scholarship of $4000 will go to a student majoring in business.

Deadline: April 10, 2019

 

Terry C. Tessein Memorial Scholarship/ Cape Cod Salties Fishing Club

Criteria:  Applicant must be a graduating high school senior at a Cape Cod High School; must be pursuing a degree in any outdoor–related discipline (including, but not limited to, Environmental Science, Marine Biology , Wildlife Management) or intending to pursue a career in Conservation Law Enforcement.

How to Apply:  Applications are available from Mrs. Kipnes in the School Counseling Office, room 2112.

Amount of Award:  One $1000 scholarship will be awarded.

Deadline:  April 19, 2019

 

Cape & Islands Workforce Development Board Youth Council Scholarship

Criteria: Applicants should be graduating high school seniors, pursuing higher education and/or a technical program or trade.

How to Apply: Applications and information are available from Mrs. Kipnes in the School Counseling Office – Room 2112.

Amount of Award: Between two to four awards of $500 - $1000/each will be awarded.

Deadline: March 15, 2019

 

The Joe Cleres Memorial Scholarship

Criteria:  Open to anyone who has a disability – either intellectually or physically challenged.  There is no financial qualification. A one page essay describing how the applicant has met the challenge of his/her disability is required.

Amount of Award:  Varies from $500 - $2000

Deadline: March 15, 2019

 

Massachusetts Elks Scholarship

Criteria: Applicants must be graduating seniors who will be attending a 4 year college;  applicant must be endorsed by the jurisdictional lodge of the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks, or the lodge of which the parent/guardian is a member.
