The following are available now for this school year.

You should inquire and/or apply by using the online application on the Scholarship Donor’s website or by the application in the Scholarship Drawer

(if available) in the School Counseling Department – Room 2112. Please see Mrs. Kipnes  with any questions.



Sons of Erin / 2019 Cape Cod St. Patrick’s Parade Colleen Pageant Scholarship

Criteria: Applicants should be female high school students from a town on Cape Cod and be of Irish descent. You must maintain a “B” average in school and be involved in school and community activities and work experiences. More information is on the application.

How to Apply: Applications and information are available from Mrs. Kipnes in the School Counseling Office – Room 2112.

Amount of Award: The Colleen Pageant Winner “Queen” will receive a $1000 scholarship and the three runner-up Colleen Court winners will receive a $500 scholarship.

Deadline: January 18, 2019, by 5:00pm

 

Gary Philbrick Memorial Golf Scholarship

Criteria:  Applicants must residents of Cape Cod and be going to college or in college and planning a career in the golf industry. It is need based and you must maintain a GPA of at least 3.0.  An interview is required and candidates must dress in proper golf attire.

How to Apply:  Applications are available from Mrs. Kipnes  in the School Counseling Office – Room 2112

Amount of Award:  Award amount not noted on application.

Deadline:  May 31, 2019

 

Marine Corps League – Cape Cod Detachment 125 – 2019 Scholarship

Criteria: Applicants should be graduating seniors who are direct family members of a Marine, Navy Corpsman, or Chaplain – past or present - and who will be attending an accredited institution of higher education after graduation from high school.

How to Apply: Applications and information are available from Mrs. Kipnes in the School Counseling Office – Room 2112.

Amount of Award: Six scholarships of $1000 will be awarded.

Deadline: March 1, 2019

 

Jason A. Fedele Memorial Scholarship Fund

Criteria: Applicants should be graduating high school seniors from Cape Cod and the Islands who work and will be continuing his/her education.

How to Apply: Applications are available from Mrs. Kipnes in the School Counseling Office – Room 2112.

Amount of Award: Approximately 5 – 7 scholarships will be awarded this year

ranging from $500 to $1500. (Total awards amount to $5000 - $8000 each year)

Deadline: July 1, 2019

 

The Rebekah Assembly of Massachusetts Scholarship

Criteria: Applicants should be graduating seniors who plan to further their education by attending a two or four-year college program.

How to Apply: Applications are available from Mrs. Kipnes in the School Counseling Office – Room 2112.

Amount of Award: One scholarship of $1000 will be awarded.

Deadline: March 15, 2019

 

Cape Area Pilot’s Association Scholarship

Criteria: Applicants should be residents of Cape Cod, Massachusetts who are US citizens and graduating from high school. You must be pursuing a career at an aviation college or university leading to a Bachelors or Associates degree in an aviation related course of study. OR You can also be employed at aviation related field during which you are attempting to enhance your aviation job skills through course work at a trade, technical school, junior college, college or university.

Deadline: March 30, 2019

 

Massachusetts Shellfish Officers Association Scholarship

Criteria: Applicants should be graduating seniors who live in a city or town that sponsors a representative to the MSOA (Town of Barnstable residents are one), who will be continuing their education in a Marine Biology program.

How to Apply: Applications and information are available from Mrs. Kipnes in the School Counseling Office – Room 2112.

Amount of Award: Amount  and number of scholarships to be awarded is to be determined.

Deadline: April 5, 2019

 

Cohen & Jaffe, LLP College Scholarship

Criteria:  Applicants must be graduating high school seniors who are U.S. Citizens or legal permanent U.S. residents, who will be attending a two or four year college or university in the fall of 2019

How to Apply:  Information is available from Mrs. Kipnes in the School Counseling Office – Room 2112.

Amount of Award: A total of 5 prizes will be awarded.  One applicant will be awarded a $1000 Scholarship; a $500 scholarship will be awarded for runner-up; and 3 applicants will be awarded $250 for honorable mention.
