Cape Cod Landscape Association Mike Stacy Memorial Scholarship
Criteria: For a graduating Cape Cod student pursuing an education in the Green (landscaping) Industry.
How to Apply: Applications are available from Mrs. MacFarlane in Hub 4 – room 2112.
Amount of Award: up to $4,500 will be awarded
Deadline: April 25, 2020
The Parish of Christ the King – Catholic Women’s Club Scholarship
Criteria: Applicants should be graduating seniors who are practicing members of the Christ the King parish who excel academically and will be attending a four year accredited college or a two year accredited junior college in the fall of 2020.
How to Apply: Applications and information are available from Mrs. MacFarlane in Hub 4 – Room 2112.
Amount of Award: Four to Six $1,000 - $2,500 scholarships will be awarded.
Deadline: May 1, 2020
Massachusetts AFL/CIO 62nd Annual Scholarship
Criteria: Applicants should be graduating seniors throughout the Commonwealth of Massachusetts who are seeking higher education. To qualify, students must register online and then take the exam. The exam will consist of 30 multiple choice questions and one written essay. All of the questions will be selected from the information in the study guide, which will be available to view and print on the AFL-CIO website by Monday, 12/02/19. The exam will be given here at BHS on Monday, February 10, 2020.
How to Apply: Information is available from Mrs. MacFarlane in Hub 4 – Room 2112.
Amount of Award: Many scholarships are awarded annually. Amounts range from $500 to $16,000.
***Deadline: AFL-CIO will be accepting online registration / applications from now through Friday, 12/20/19. *no registrations will be accepted after 12/20. Once you are registered, you need to let Mrs. MacFarlane know so the right number of tests can be ordered.
