“Class of 2019”

 

The following are available now for this school year.

You should inquire and/or apply by using the online application on the Scholarship Donor’s website or by the application in the Scholarship Drawer

(if available) in the School Counseling Department – Room 2112. Please see Mrs. Kipnes  with any questions.

 

The Friends of the Schoolhouse Scholarship

Criteria: Applicants should be BHS graduating seniors who have attended Barnstable Public Schools for K-12 and who plan to attend a two or four year college, trade or technical school.

How to Apply: Applications and information are available from Mrs. Kipnes  in the School Counseling Office Room 2112.

Amount of Award:  Two scholarships of $1000 will be awarded.

Deadline: March 15, 2019

 

Barbara Ann Nelson Scholarship

Criteria: Applicants must be BHS graduating seniors who have attended Centerville Elementary School for a minimum of three years, graduated from Centerville Elementary, and  who will be attending a college/university or trade school in the fall of 2019.

How to Apply: Applications are available from Mrs. Kipnes in the School Counseling Office – Room 2112.

Amount of Award: Three to five scholarships of $1250 will be awarded.

Deadline: March 10, 2019

 

West Barnstable Civic Association Scholarship

Criteria: Applicants should be graduating high school seniors who are US citizens and residents of West Barnstable. Applicants should demonstrate academic achievement and evidence of interest in civic affairs, including community service and volunteerism. Serious consideration will be given to those applicants who have demonstrated specific civic contributions related to West Barnstable community. Applicants should be planning to pursue a post high school degree of higher learning.

How to Apply: You can apply online at www.westbarnstable.org or pick up an application and information from Mrs. Kipnes in the School Counseling Office – Room 2112.

Amount of Award: 2 - 4 scholarships totaling $2000 will be awarded.

Deadline: March 29, 2019



Marstons Mills Village Association Scholarship

Criteria: Applicants should be graduating seniors who are residents of Marstons Mills who plan on attending college in the fall of 2019.

How to Apply: Applications and information are available from Mrs. Kipnes in the School Counseling Office – Room 2112.

Amount of Award: Four scholarships of $1000 will be awarded.

Deadline: March 8, 2019

 

Barnstable Realtors Scholarship

Criteria: Applicants should be graduating seniors who are Barnstable residents who will be attending college in the fall of 2019.

How to Apply: Applications are available from Mrs. Kipnes in the School Counseling Office – Room 2112.

Amount of Award:  Scholarships of $1000 will be awarded in June.

Deadline: Applications will be accepted from 2/1/2019 to 4/30/2019

 

Cotuit Firefighter’s Association, Inc. Scholarship

Criteria: Applicants should be graduating seniors who are residents of the Cotuit Fire District, its employees, and their children, past and present who will be attending college in the fall.

How to Apply: Applications are available from Mrs. Kipnes in the School Counseling Office – Room 2112.

Amount of Award: A scholarship of $1000 will be awarded.

Deadline: April 1, 2019

 

Cotuit Firefighter’s Association, Inc. - Brenda Nailor EMT Scholarship

Criteria:  Applicants should be graduating seniors who are residents of Cotuit Fire District, its employees and their children, past and present who will be completing a two year Fire Science Program with EMS option that results in EMT Certification or taking an EMT course outside of College and obtaining your EMT National Certification.

How to Apply:  Applications are available from Mrs. Kipnes in the School Counseling Ofifce – Room 2112

Amount of Award:  A scholarship of $1000 will be awarded
