“Class of 2024”

 

The following are available now for this school year. 

Unless otherwise noted you can obtain applications and information from Mrs. MacFarlane in Student Support, Hub 4, room 2112.

Pay close attention to how the scholarships are paid if you should be the recipient.  This information will be at the end of each Scholarship listed if I have the information.


Osterville Business and Professional Association Scholarship

Criteria:  For a High School Senior who is a resident of Osterville or who is the child of an OBP member regardless of that child’s residence or school attended. The OBPA Scholarship Committee awards the scholarship based upon academic achievement and family financial need. 

How to Apply:  Applications are available from Mrs. MacFarlane in School Counseling, room 2112.

Amount of Award:  One $1500 scholarship will be awarded.

Deadline: Applications must be received by Friday, May 3, 2024.


Osterville Garden Club

Criteria: For Graduating seniors from the class of 2024. The Scholarship Fund, in order to encourage and promote the study of horticulture, landscape design, and environmental studies, awards scholarships to graduates of Barnstable High School, Sturgis East and West or Cape Cod Regional Technical High School in Harwich.

How to Apply: Applications are available from Mrs. MacFarlane in School Counseling, room 2112.

Amount of Award: Number of awards and amounts varies.

Deadline: March 15, 2024


The Citizens Scholarship Sweepstakes

Criteria:  For students pursuing further education at least half-time in an accredited undergraduate/graduate post-secondary institution within one year of winning an award.  In addition, to be eligible for a chance to win a Citizens Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Scholarship during a Quarterly Entry Period, entrants must also be an/a: American Indian or Alaskan Native, African American or Black, Hispanic or Latino/a, Asian, Native Hawaiian, or other Pacific Islander, women, member of the LGBTQ+ community, individual with disabilities, and /or a Veteran.

Amount of Award: Varies

Martin J. Flynn Scholarship

Criteria: For graduating seniors who are residents of the Town of Barnstable.  You must pursue education beyond the secondary level at an institution deemed accredited by the Scholarship Committee.  You must show financial need, have great character, a satisfactory scholastic record, involvement in community service as well as extra- curricular activities.

How to Apply:  Applications are available from Mrs. MacFarlane in School Counseling, room 2112.

Amount of Award:  Number and amounts of awards varies.

Deadline: April 30, 2024
