Massachusetts AFL/CIO 61st Annual Scholarship

Criteria: Applicants should be graduating seniors throughout the Commonwealth of Massachusetts who are seeking higher education. To qualify, students must register online and then take the exam. The exam will consist of 30 multiple choice questions and one written essay.  All of the questions will be selected from the information in the study guide, which will be available to view and print on the AFL-CIO website by Monday, 12/17. The exam will be given here at BHS on Wednesday, Feb.6, 2019.

How to Apply: Information is available from Mrs. Kipnes in the School Counseling Office – Room 2112.

Amount of Award: Many scholarships are awarded annually. Scholarship money given annually to Massachusetts students usually reaches a total of over $500,000.

***Deadline: AFL-CIO will be accepting online registration / applications Monday, 11/5 through Friday, 12/14/18.  *no registrations will be accepted after 12/14.
