The following are available now for this school year.
You should inquire and/or apply by using the online application on the Scholarship Donor’s website or by the application in the Scholarship Drawer
(if available) in the School Counseling Department – Room 2112. Please see Mrs. Kipnes with any questions.
Barnstable County Agricultural Society, Inc. Scholarship
Criteria: Applicants should be graduating seniors or current college students from Cape Cod who are planning or are currently in a course of study in the following categories: Agriculture, Aquaculture, Green Sciences, Turf/Grass Management, Marine Sciences, Equine Sciences, Veterinarian, Family and Consumer Sciences to include Interior Design, Clothing and Textiles, Culinary Arts, Nutrition and Food Preservation, or Management in a related field.
How to Apply: Applications are available from Mrs. Kipnes in the School Counseling Office – Room 2112.
Amount of Award: Multiple scholarships of $2000 are generally awarded annually.
Deadline: March 6, 2019
The Stephen Phillips Memorial Scholarship
Criteria: Applicants should be graduating seniors and permanent residents of New England who plan on attending college in the US this fall. You must have a GPA of 3.0 or higher and have financial need. Students must display academic achievement, a commitment to serving others (in school, the community or at home), a strong work ethic demonstrated by part time employment while in school, grit and passion for overcoming obstacles and/or achieving future goals, and leadership qualities.
How to Apply: Information about applying online is available from Mrs. Kipnes in the School Counseling Office – Room 2112 or on their website at www.phillips-scholarship.org.
Amount of Award: Scholarships generally range from $3000 to $18,000.
Deadline: April 3, 2019, by noon for early application deadline or May 1, 2019, noon, for regular application option.
John Maloy Tennis Scholarship
Criteria: Applicants should be graduating seniors from a Cape Cod public high school who will be attending a 4-year college in the fall of 2019 where they will play varsity tennis or on the club tennis team.
How to Apply: Applications are available from Mrs.Kipnes in the School Counseling Office – Room 2112.
Amount of Award: 3 scholarships of $1000 each.
Deadline: April 19, 2019
The Parish of Christ the King – Catholic Women’s Club Scholarship
Criteria: Applicants should be graduating seniors who are practicing members of the Christ the King parish who will be attending a two or four year accredited college in the fall of 2018.
How to Apply: Applications and information are available from Mrs. Kipnes in the School Counseling Office – Room 2112.
Amount of Award: varies.
Deadline: May 15, 2019
Cape Cod Chorale 2019 Barbara Knight Memorial Scholarship
Criteria: Awarded to a graduating senior from Barnstable High School, Cape Cod Academy, Mashpee High School, Sandwich High School or Sturgis Charter High School who plans to major in music in college, whether that be in music education, music theory, composition, music management, conducting, music history, performance, etc.
How to Apply: Applications are available from Mrs. Kipnes in the School Counseling Office, room 2112, or online at capecodchorale.org
Amount of Award: $1000
Deadline: Must be received, by mail, by Monday, March 25, 2019
