Jazz Band is an audition based, after school ensemble for anyone interested in learning different styles of music/Jazz such as Latin, Swing, Funk, Ballads, Bebop, etc. Jazz Band performs traditionally twice a year, and rehearses once a week after school. Rehearsal time commitment is essential in creating a strong performance. Instruments traditionally include: saxophones, trombones, trumpets, guitar, bass, piano, and drums. However, the ensemble is open to a variety of instruments that aren't necessarily included in that list like flutes, clarinets, and tubas. Speak to Mrs. O'Connor-Vince for more information
