Upperclassmen students apply by answering a few prompts and finding a teacher to recommend them. Once accepted to the program, students are trained by the New England branch of The Anti-Defamation League. Using the ADL’s Peer Leadership curriculum, and the training, peer leaders are then assigned to a team of 3 or 4 and a Freshman advisory. With their team, the upperclassmen facilitate activities and discussions with freshmen around the issues of identity and acceptance of others for a safer school. Ideally, these leadership skills will help students and make justice and equity a reality in the world around them.
