  • Upcoming Spring College Visit - for any interested Juniors...  You must have a pass from your School Counselor in order to attend; please be sure to let your teacher know you will be at the visit and know that you are responsible for making up any missed classwork.

  • The Drama Club will be opening the upbeat and fun musical PIPPIN this Friday 3/22 at 7 in the PAC. Shows continue on Saturday 3/23 at 7pm and Sunday 3/24 at 2pm. Next week's shows are on Friday 3/29 at 7 and Saturday 3/30 at 2 & 7. Hope you can join us for this magical show.   • Prom Dress Giveaway will be on Thursday, March 21 in the Jr/Sr Cafeteria from 2-3:30.  Come on down and pick out a dress, there are many to choose from.
  • Attention Senior Girls:  If you already received an application for the Cape Cod Chapter of Mass. Association of Insurance Women, Inc. Scholarship, please see Mrs. Kipnes in School Counseling - 2112. 
  • Scholarship Reminders for Seniors:  Now that the pressure of the March 15th Scholarship packet deadline has passed, just a few reminders for you: * please don't forget to apply for the Cape Cod Association and Cape Cod Foundation Scholarships.  All information regarding these online applications are in the February packet, and in the School Counseling Office - 2112.. Deadline for both CCA and CCF are April 1st. You have plenty of time for some great scholarship opportunities!  * please review ALL of the scholarship bulletins posted so far (available on the school counseling website, in house offices and school counseling office). You still have time to apply for many of these!! Take advantage of these opportunities for $$$! Keep your eyes open for more bulletins  - more opportunities to come!
  • Attention Seniors: There are only 100 copies of the 2019 Barnacle Yearbook remaining. If you haven’t purchased yours yet, be sure you see Mrs. Whidden or go to Balfour. com to purchase. Act fast before the price goes up to $85 on April 1st! 

  • Attention Seniors! Barnstable High School is excited to invite parents and students to attend a free seminar on understanding financial aid award letters and making a plan to pay the college bill. The seminar will take place on Monday, April 1st, 6:00pm, in the junior/senior cafe. This is a great opportunity to get an overview of the college payment process, including the details of financial aid award letters, using payment plans, different financing options, and how to minimize debt.  Make sure to bring your financial aid award letters to the seminar to get all of your questions answered after the presentation.

  • Scholarship bulletin #14 is now available in the School Counseling Office as well as your House Offices.
