5/10/21 - Raise Craze Update, BUES T-shirts, Multicultural Stories Series

Good morning BUES families,

I hope you all had a great weekend and Mother’s day.  Please see below for some important updates:

Raise Craze Update:

Our Raise Craze fundraiser is in week two.  It was a wonderful first week.  We are currently at 1750 acts of kindness.  The goal is 1800 so we should smash that.  I’m so excited that students are being extra kind and helpful, both in-school and outside of school.  It really is amazing!

If your student is not registered, there is still time.  If we can get another 40 students registered, I would be happy to do another “crazy” thing.  It won’t be another dance video, but it will be worth it.  Please see the link below:

BUES T-shirts

The PTA is generously donating BUES t-shirts for our students.  Please fill out the worm so we can get the correct sizes to your student

I have attached a flyer for an exciting Multicultural Stories Series presented by the Hyannis Public Library. The  bilingual Storywalk®  up right now at the Harbor Overlook Shanties by the Hyannis Village Green is One Rainy Day/Um Dia Chuvoso by Martin Jenkins in English and Portuguese. The next one starting May 17 will be an English/Haitian Creole book. We have a craft kit with materials for children to write and illustrate their own book available for pick up at the library. There will be a new craft to go along with the second book.

Have a great week!
