Ms. Walker’s News - Room 14

  • January 31, 2020

    Dear Families,

Can you believe it is already February? As we approach the 100th day of school it is amazing to see how far all students have come since the fall. Room 14 is a busy place…students are now reading harder books and adding large numbers in math. When students stay focused and invest the time and effort into their learning it truly pays off. Just a friendly reminder we speak with one voice at a time during small groups. This is not only respectful, but allows everyone’s’ voice to be heard. Students have needed some reminders in this area.

Please continue to review the sight words and reading the mini-phonics books at home. So much good reading is taking place. I can’t wait to see how far students will continue to grow as the warmer weather approaches.

I am sending home a Scholastic Book orders if you would like to order any books. Also please ask around if anyone would like to donate Box Tops to our school. Thank you.
