Welcome to the Barnstable Public Schools’ Superintendent’s Page.
The 2024-2025 school year is just around the corner. I am so excited to see students arriving for another year of learning and growing.
There is always a lot going on behind the scenes in the summer.
We have been hiring new administrators, new faculty, and new staff. Our Facilities department has been busy with summer maintenance and capital improvement projects. Food services has been providing free breakfast and lunch all summer long at several school sites. Transportation has been working diligently to prepare bus routes for this coming fall. We hosted numerous summer academic and enrichment opportunities for our students. Educators have been updating curriculum and engaging in professional development. The Family and Community Engagement Center has been steadily enrolling students. Although the rhythm of the summer looks different than the school year, our schools continue to be dynamic in providing services to children and families.
We will emphasize a long standing theme in the District this year with “You Belong in Barnstable!”
