As Cape Cod’s oldest, largest and most culturally diverse school district, Barnstable Public Schools has deep roots in the Cape’s communities educating and inspiring the region’s youth to thrive on Cape, and off. Young adults educated at Barnstable Public Schools often return to the district as school leaders and teachers – and stay – to make a difference in this community. Student alumni are now members of the school committee and parent-teacher association, principals of several district schools, veteran and new teachers, and the head of our custodial services.
