We are a district school...
We are a school of choice, welcoming students in kindergarten through grade 3 from all seven villages in the Town of Barnstable.
Our class sizes will be comparable to other elementary schools within the district.
We have access to resources and services available through Barnstable Public Schools.
...with a twist.
Barnstable Community Innovation School will
maintain autonomy
in selecting curriculum materials and programs to best meet the needs of our students.
We hold
enrichment clusters
every winter that are incredible learning experiences for the students.
Third grade students are leaders
in our school.
They model responsibility and respect for their younger peers.
Our students work with volunteers to plant and harvest our
community garden
.
