• Barnstable High School Girls Ice Hockey Team FREE Skate Night

    14th annual Skate Night with Barnstable High School Girls Ice Hockey Team is January 22nd.  A free event, open to Barnstable girls ages 4 to 12.  Registration 5:45 pm.  Skating 6:15 to 7:10PM. Participants receive one free skate rental for the event, a hot chocolate and a goody bag.

  • Whelden Memorial Library's January Movie Night

    Whelden Memorial Library's monthly Movie Night is on Wednesday, January 23, at 5:45 sharp! Come and watch the recent release, Smallfoot. This is a free, all-ages event (children under the age of 10 must be accompanied by an adult); free popcorn will be served. Registration is appreciated, but drop-ins are welcome.

  • Hyannis Public Library: Music & Movement

    Music and Movement Group - 1st Monday of the month from 1:30 -2:30 p.m., January 7, February 4 and March 4 at the Hyannis Public Library. Children from birth to age 5, with a caregiver may come have fun and learn how music covers all areas of development. Presented by Miss Ellen of the Barnstable Coordinated Family and Community Engagement(BCFCE) program. This program is free and no registration is required.

  • Jr Tech Stem Workshops

    Jr. Tech offers high quality, interactive STEM workshops which broadens students’ awareness of career paths in STEM, increases skills, and encourages a lifelong interest. Barnstable students in grades 4–12 are encouraged to enroll in these hands-on sessions focused on topics such as Virtual Reality, PC Building, Futuristic Fashion, CAD, and Robot Building.
