Five Bays Bistro is hiring for a Host/Hostess for evening shifts (4:15pm-no later than 9:45). Responsibilities include answering phones, taking reservations, greeting and seating guests.  We are looking for friendly, cheerful, professional candidates for this position. Dress is casual-chic.  This position is for both weeknight and weekends.

 

Five Bays Bistro is also looking to hire a Bus Person for evening shifts (4:15pm-no later than 9:45).  Responsibilities include serving bread and water to guests, clearing dishes from guests between courses, retrieving ice for the servers and bartenders, clearing the bar bus bucket, and disposing of trash and empty bottles throughout the night. This is a labor-intensive, fast-paced position that requires a strong sense of urgency and independence. This is a tipped position, and has a high earning potential as such. This position is typically just for Friday/Saturday nights during the school year, and nightly during summer. Otherwise, we may ask for weeknight help only for holidays such as Valentine’s day or Mother’s Day.
