    At Hyannis West we embrace the uniqueness in every child. The passionate staff works diligently to ensure that your child receives a challenging and joyful educational experience.
     
    We pride ourselves in building strong relationships with our students utilizing the Responsive Classroom approach. A strong sense of community is formed in every classroom and throughout the school. Staff members create a learning environment where students feel safe to take risks, express and share their ideas freely, and to reach beyond their academic potential. Parent and community involvement is also important to us and is evident by the countless volunteers that visit our school on a daily basis.

    Vision Statement
    Hyannis West students will become confident, independent problem-solvers equipped with the 21st Century academic and social skills necessary to be competitive, contributing citizens of the world.
     
    Mission Statement
    At Hyannis West we welcome and embrace the uniqueness of all children. We believe all children can achieve at high levels when high expectations are placed upon them, resources are used effectively, and rigorous learning opportunities are presented. Using a Multi-tiered system of supports, we will use data to accurately identify academic and social/emotional needs and provide timely interventions and/or enrichments to our students.
