Request For Proposals

The faculty of Barnstable Public Schools is invited to submit proposals for professional development courses and/or workshops. You can help create opportunities for us to collectively share our skills and to engage in conversations and practices that will strengthen our instructional practice and maximize student achievement.

Please submit your Proposal Form to Marie McKay, Assistant Superintendent, Central Office.  Proposals will be reviewed by the Professional Development Board for approval.

  • PDPs may be granted at the rate of 1 PDP for every hour of the course/workshop.
  • Instructors must submit a Professional Development Proposal form.
  • Instructors will receive a stipend of $35.00 per instructional hour.
  • Workshops must meet a minimum of 3 hours/max of 10 hours.
