DEFINING CREDITS and PDPs & STEP AND LANE MOVEMENT

Defining Credits and PDPs

Barnstable Public Schools is a registered provider of Professional Development Points (PDPs).

All approved district sponsored professional development activities earn staff PDPs.

Staff members who take an approved graduate course for credit and submit evidence of completion with a grade of C or better may be entitled to tuition reimbursement of up to $825.00 per year.

Step and Lane Movement

Provisions of the Barnstable Teachers Association contract with the Barnstable School Committee affect your movement between steps and lanes.  Please review these provisions carefully.  If you have any questions regarding these provisions, please contact your building BTA representative.
