Gathering for our field trip! We are here to learn how about the interdependence of the land, seasons, tides effects the business of Hyannis Harbor
Gray cloulds did not keep us from learning about our community at Hyannis Harbor.
Working here at the harbor is hard work, but lots of fun!  About 100 lobsters a day are sold on a hot summer day at Spanky's!
Captain Ludvigson aboard the Sea Swan, a day fishing boat.
Ms. Macort aboard the Sarah, a replica of a Crosby Cat Boat.
Captain Shoemaker says that working on Firetug Tille is a lot of fun.
Captain Murphy from Firetug Tillie, a summer attraction for young and old.
Mr. Hurley from New England Maritime School shared how his school teaches people safety on the seas. Mr.Zarle is one of the local artists who spends his summers selling his art work at an Artist Shanty on the Harbor green.
Mr. Britton's job is like a duck out of water! He runs the Duckmobile service where folks get the opportunity to see unique parts of Hyannis and "drive" on the Harbor as well. Ms. Brianna Bisset was one of the many students who were able to interview the business along the harbor.

Thank you to all the local businesses that took time out of their busy days to help us learn more about our unique Cape Cod environment.
