This is a very engaging time for our Gateway students anf their families:

• Elementary pull-out and push-in classes are in full swing.
• Grade Four and Five students are hard at work on projects of all kinds, as well as math, litereature and creative writing pursuits.
• Barnstable Intermediate School students were all involved in Enrichment Clusters in February.  This is a project to which the Gateway office devotes many hours of work.  Over seventy different small groups meet in the areas of interest to the two adults and students in each cluster - African Drumming, Yoga, Cupcake Decorating, Reader's Theater, Art, Fitness and many more were offered this year!
• BHS Mock Trial finished the season 2-1, losing by only one point in their final appearance! Great work by all the students involved. Eigth Grade Mock Trial students will soon be hosting scrimmages.
• Future Problem Solvers have grappled with these issues:  All in a Day's Work, Coral Reefs and Human Rights.  Trade Barriers and Pharmeceuticals are the topics for the upcoming State Bowl and International Competition.
• Desitnation Imagination Teams are preparing for the Regional Tournament on March 11.
