What is the Cape Cod Gateway Regional Resource Center for Gifted  and Talented Education ?

      The formation of the CC Gateway is the result of a DESE 587 Grant, the primary focus being to serve the needs of gifted and talented students and their schools in the Southeast Region, including Cape Cod. The educational professionals in these communities will be better able to serve the advanced and talented population through professional development in conjunction with invested partners.

The Cape Cod Gateway Regional Resource Center was open in 2009. Unfortunately, the funding for the center, which had come from the Commonwealth of Massachusetts under DESE Grant 587, has not been continued by the state.  The resources available here will, over the course of the next several months, be moved to the Barnstable Gateway Program's website.  Please excuse our appearance during this transition.

     The following training opportunities will be available for graduate-level credit to partner districts. The courses are designed for classroom teachers, teachers in gifted and talent programs,as well as adminstrators.
