ACT Information The ACT Assessment is designed to assess high school students' general educational development and their ability to complete college-level work. The tests cover four skill areas: English, mathematics, reading, and science reasoning. This is an alternative to the SAT standardized test. This is an assesment that is used by most colleges in addition to, or in place of the SAT, and is more based on high school curriculum. It is not given at BHS.
