Interpreting The
Academic Record |
Class Rank
Class rank is based on cumulative grade point average. The
average is computed using the valude of the earned grade in
a course: |
- A=4
- B=3
- C=2
- D=1
- F=0
|
times the course level multiplier, divided by the credits
earned and attempted. Each course has a value multiplier determined
by its level: |
- AP=5
- H=4
- CP2=3
- CP1=2
- Sp.Ed=1
|
| No special programs or courses taken beyond the regular high
school programs including summer school are counted towards
class rank. |
Grade Point Average
G.P.A is a weighted average of all the grades in all courses
during current and previouse years. G.P.A. is on a 20.000
scale. The G.P.A is utilized to compute class rank. An unweighted
G.P.A on a 4.0 scale can be provided upon request. |
