10 Reasons to take an A.P Class:

8. Since 1955, more than 8 million students have taken over 13 million AP examinations worldwide. On average, 64 percent of those take an AP exam receive a grade that is accepted for college credit, advanced placement, or both. Nearly 60 percent of the U.S. secondary schools currently participate in the program.

9. More than 3,000 colleges grant credit to students presenting satisfactory grades on AP exams. More than 1,400 colleges will grant a full year's credit.
